Ambulatory assisted rides in Vancouver
ARK doesn’t drive in Vancouver yet, so you can’t book a ride here. Tell us you need one and we’ll write to you the day we launch. For riders who can transfer to a seat with help. Your driver provides standby or hands-on assistance from the door to the vehicle and back, with a folded mobility aid stowed safely. When ARK launches in Vancouver, British Columbia, ambulatory rides will cover Kitsilano and Mount Pleasant through Metro Vancouver, including trips to Vancouver General Hospital and St. Paul's Hospital. BC riders may be eligible for support through Persons with Disabilities (PWD) benefits and regional Health Connections travel assistance.

Low-floor van with a side or rear ramp and 4-point securement — fits most manual and power wheelchairs.

Powered lift for heavier power chairs and scooters, with extra headroom and securement.
Adapted sedan
Comfortable sedan with transfer assistance for ambulatory riders who don’t travel seated in their wheelchair.
Funding & subsidy
