Request a ride or schedule ahead
Enter your pickup and dropoff. ARK shows you the accessible entrance via Street View so you know exactly where to wait. Tap "Request" for now, or schedule up to 7 days in advance.
You'll see a fare estimate before you confirm — and it's the same fare anyone else pays. Zero accessibility surcharge, always.
Your driver arrives — you're matched
ARK's matching engine finds the nearest eligible wheelchair-accessible vehicle. Your driver's accessibility equipment is verified before they can go online.
Track your driver live on the map. Large accessible controls, full VoiceOver and TalkBack support, and haptic alerts at every state change.
Ride, pay, rate the accessibility
Stripe handles payment automatically at trip end — no fumbling with a terminal. Rate your driver and, separately, rate the vehicle's accessibility so future riders benefit.
Your accessibility rating feeds ARK's quality loop. Drivers with low accessibility scores are reviewed before they can continue accepting rides.

Apply and get vetted
Download ARK Driver, upload your WAV operator certificate, pass a background check, and submit your vehicle for inspection. Applications are reviewed within 48 hours.
Go online, receive ride offers
Toggle online when you're ready. Nearby ride requests appear as offer cards showing the rider's accessibility needs highlighted so you can confirm you're set up correctly.
Complete the trip and get paid
Navigate with Google Maps. Mark arrived, start, complete. Stripe deposits your earnings within 2 business days — minus ARK's 10% platform fee, shown transparently.
Common questions
- Is there an extra charge for wheelchair-accessible vehicles?
- Never. ARK charges the same fare regardless of which accessibility equipment your ride requires. This is non-negotiable.
- How are drivers verified?
- Every driver submits a WAV operator certificate, background check, vehicle inspection, and insurance before their first ride. ARK admin reviews and approves each application.
- What if no driver is available?
- You're notified immediately and not charged. ARK keeps retrying automatically, or you can schedule for a future time when driver availability is higher.
- How does the Street View entrance panel work?
- When you enter a pickup address, ARK fetches a Google Street View image of the accessible entrance — so you know exactly where the ramp or step-free door is before your driver arrives.
