Accessible vehicle types
Wheelchair-accessible van (ramp)
Low-floor van with a side or rear ramp and 4-point securement — fits most manual and power wheelchairs.
Wheelchair-accessible van (lift)
Powered lift for heavier power chairs and scooters, with extra headroom and securement.
Adapted sedan
Comfortable sedan with transfer assistance for ambulatory riders who don’t travel seated in their wheelchair.
Funding & subsidy
ODSP recipients and other Ontario disability programs may cover eligible medical trips, and the Assistive Devices Program (ADP) supports related mobility needs. Direct billing through ARK is coming soon.
