Companion & support-person rides in Calgary
ARK doesn’t drive in Calgary yet, so you can’t book a ride here. Tell us you need one and we’ll write to you the day we launch. Bring a support person, family member, or personal support worker along. ARK includes a companion seat so you’re never alone for an appointment or a difficult trip. When ARK launches in Calgary, Alberta, companion rides will cover Beltline and Bridgeland through Beltline and Bridgeland, including trips to Foothills Medical Centre and Rockyview General Hospital. AISH recipients in Alberta may have eligible non-emergency medical transport covered; direct insurer billing through ARK is coming soon.

Low-floor van with a side or rear ramp and 4-point securement — fits most manual and power wheelchairs.
Wheelchair-accessible van (lift)
Powered lift for heavier power chairs and scooters, with extra headroom and securement.
Adapted sedan
Comfortable sedan with transfer assistance for ambulatory riders who don’t travel seated in their wheelchair.
